Newest Core 2 Duo Asus Intel nForce 5 series board - if you have info, please post!

Hello all, I was recently planning a build, and I figured dual core was the way to go, so I did some research. Seemed that Intel was going to be the winner for this one, no hard feelings to AMD or anything. Started reading about motherboards, and kept hearing about some "590 or 570" series board that wasn't out yet. I did a decent amount more research, and came to the conclusion that the 570 and 590 reference was in relation to some new chipsets from nVidia.

More research determined that these chipsets were brand new, and only out on a few boards so far, mostly AMD dual core systems. I found out that Asus was making a board that ran the nVidia nForce 590 series chipset, and started hearing more and more about it. The only problem is that I couldn't find a release date...

To sum it up, there is a new chipset out from nVidia, the 5 series, with the 590 and the 570. Both have IMMENSE feature lists and look extremely sweet. There are a few boards out from various manufacturers that run these nForce 5 series chipsets, but they mostly seem to be very basic, or AMD designed.

Asus is coming out with a super-tight board, designed for Intel, that supports Core 2 Duo, and an extremely nice list of specs, each nicer than the last.

Here is a link to a thread on another forum that I was tracking that seems full of information relating to this chipset and board - LINK

Here is a link to the Asus board I have been referring to, the P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP. LINK

Here is a link to the nVidia nForce 5 series of chipsets, with specs for the 570 and the 590 - LINK

All these links are straight from the horses mouth, or as close as I can get, straight from Asus, and straight from nVidia. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check out the links above, as they will back up how sweet I said the board was. I won't post features or specs here, but have a peep, please.

My question is, does anyone have any information on these P5n32-SLI boards, maybe a release date or something I haven't posted here. As soon as they hit the streets, I'd like to get one for my Core 2 Duo board. Have to run for now, should be back in 24 hours, headed to a Tool concert a short plane ride away...

Thanks for your time.

Ok how sweet of a board its gonna be is yet to be determined. They should be out end of this month. 570 budget boards from asus have already hit.

Overall right now we cant say if this is the board to get or not. Im sticking with intel chipsets at the moment. Only time and testing will tell, and to be perfectly honest, seeing nforce's past with intel, im gonna wait before I make any decision on this.

Ah, thanks for the date. Seems that no one has an exact date, and even the board on the Asus site is on zeus.asus.com, which can't seem to be validated for correct info.

These boards are a mystery, just wondering if anyone had any updates. Thanks
