Missing Files on old drive...help
I built my own PC (using the guides on this sight) from the ground up. I later installed my old hard drive to retrieve files from it however I am denied access to my files. Not all but most. I have used directory snoop and it shows me my old files but I can't put them on my new drive. I also used pcinspector but it doesn't show me file names mostly just cluster numbers. Any help getting my old files or using these programs to recover them would be helpful.

What operating system is on your new drive and what operating system was on the old drive? or if it was a slave what operating system was used to store them?
