Is Windows Memory Diagnostic any good?

Hi,
Has anyone used this: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp and is it any good? I've been using Memtest 86 +, which one is better.
TIA

It wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

Thanks EzyStvy I have, it appears to be pretty good, on one PC it caught the same problems as Memtest86+ and was more specific than Memtest86+, just wondered if anyone else had any experience with it?

One person said that Microsoft's diagnostic caught an error that MemTest86 missed, but in my experience it missed an error that was found by MemTest86 (or MemTest+) and Gold Memory, and RealWorldTech.com rated both of these highly here:http://www.realworldtech.com/page.cf...2001232443&p=2

Thanks for the links larrymoencurley, I thought it worked pretty good, but I agree with you I still like Memtest86+ a little better.

I should have mentioned that it's important to run both MemTest86 (or MemTest86+) AND Gold Memory because I've had a couple of memory modules pass one of these diagnostics but not the other.

The worst diagnostic I've ever used is DocMem, from www.simmtester.com, and with one particular module it found no errors when MemTest86 reported thousands of them.
