where is my data
I took a hard drive out of one comptuer and put it into the other. It said it found it - but there is no data on it. I could format it, but I wanted the data?

Which OS do you have on the computers ? It could be that the target PC has Windows9x wheteas the source PC has Win2K/XP.
Windows 9x can't read NTFS which is used with 2X/XP. If that is not the issue, we need more info about what the problem really is (do you get an error message, what PCs are you using etc. etc.) RJ

found the harddrive
I put the xp harddrive in and it found it. I'm not sure what happened. At one point, I know I forgot that i created a logical drive and was looking at the wrong drive. I'm all set
