Appreciate some assistance.
Have a Toshiba Tecra 520CDT with a 4GB internal HD, and would like to get an external Travelstar 8E (8GB) PCMCIA (Slot Type II)hard drive. Q#: Is it possible to use an external hard drive (such as the one mentioned above), and the laptop's internal 4GB at the same time, or can you only use one or the other? --- |

I'm sure you could use both.. the external will no doubt set up as drive D.

WJWheels,
Thank you for your reply. Was not sure whether both HDs could be used at the same time. The internal HD is C:\, so the external PCMCIA would be D:\, as you stated. Have a good week. |

GOB,
No longer have that Laptop, but it was running W98. As far as I recall, it installed OK. Hope you can get it to work. Toshiba has (or had, last year) a forum where you post questions specific to their machines. Found some help there. Might give it a whirl. Good luck. |
