I've connected everything in my system including all fans except there is a tiny three or four pin connector still loose from the psu. I think it controls the psu fan or not, I don't know. It has two wires, one white and one blue. I'm guessing the Blue is positive. My mobo has a place to connect the system fan and a place to connect the power fan. Which is it? The power fan or the system fan or does it matter? My mobo and psu manuals don't mention anything of the sort. The other fans seem to be functioning very well. My cpu is at 26C and system is at 32C according to the temperature sensor on my hard drive and the temp read out on the front panel lcd guage. My XFX 7900GS is at 44C.

That three pin connector allows you to monitor the speed of the power supply fan. In no way does it control the fan, and you can safely leave it disconnected - or connect it to either of the motherboard headers you mention.
