Boom Conflict between NIC and Graphic Card

Hello,

I'm using year 2000 Hewlett-Packard PC with Intel Celeron 900Mhz/256mb sdram. A few month ago, I had bought GeCube Ati Radeon R9250L PCI 128mb PCI graphic card and it work ok with my pc.

Recently I installed network card (Compex Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter) and it didn't co-operate with may graphic card. It keep coflicting. So I have to use either one. I tried to change the slot position but i didn't work.

Anybody can help me?

When I reboot, computer start to hang. But some time it succeed to restart (with beep sound during reboot). Then pop up says ' wondows having problem with the device and will not function correctly.

Try using slot 1 for the graphic card and skip a slot for the network card. This is probably a IRQ conflict.
