Preserving Files
I am having considerable problem with spyware on my computer, and I want to get rid of it. The spyware is not the only problem so I have decided to F-disk my HDD, but I have a bunch of files(40GBs) that I really want to keep, is there any way to preserve these when I format the rest of the disk?

You have to copy them to another drive or burn em to cd/dvd.
Or, if there is another partition on the drive you can copy them there.

Fdisk is only used with Win9x - if you have 2K or XP you use the OS CD to manage partitions on a reinstall.
