People over at Gamespot said its up to the gamer for Accuracy mostly and not to the Hardware....
I used to be pretty good at Wolfenstein ET.... should I be ok at BF2? |

You would be fine with a cheap mousepad or none at all. And as the adage goes, practice makes perfect.

Yeah, I believe it. My Sonata II came in 1 day, and I paid for 3 days. Can't beat the service.

What kind of Sensitivities should I expect from a Gaming Mouse? I was used to a 6.89 for Wolfenstein Enemy Territory with the Logitech Click! mouse lol.
Could I go down to about 4 with this mouse? Looks great in the packaging lol. Can't wait to use it. |

Thats something you'll have to mess with and find out. I always prefer just enough sensitivity to go from side to side of the screen without needing any more then a flick of a wrist.

. Its too small for my low sens and I LOVE low sens.My budget is like 25 bucks MAX for a good mouse pad. Any suggestions? The Razer Exact mat looked great for the price cause the Func ones arent designed for Laser mice. |

Who told you func's werent made for laser mice?? The whole purpose of those mousepads is laser mice.
Here are some good gaming mousepads: http://www.svc.com/mopaandad.html I have used many many performance mousepads in the past. Including ones from func, xtrac, and steelpad. My favorite has been the Ulti-Mat. I bit over 25. http://sidewindercomputers.com/ulsied.html One more thing, why not go to your local office/computer store and check out the mousepads yourself? |

Can you give me suggestions for a $10 buck one that would work with a G5 and a $20 buck one? |

Don't underestimate some of the cheap mouse pads. I use a good mouse on a plain mouse pad and use a 3.5 sensitivity in CS:S and it is very accurate.

Thing is, the black one I got with my G5 aka my mousepad from Walmart is just too small for me. I need a bigger place like the 8 inches to 17 would really make a difference. If it were an optical mouse, I'd get a cheaper mouse but the thing is that I got a G5 and it just slips and slides. EX: My older Logitech setup for the E-Machine we have is more accurate lol. Cause cheap mouse + cheap pad go hand it hand but I need quality. Thanks for the thought though. |

You have 5 bucks and you are worrying about a mousepad? Do you have a piece of plain white paper?

Why buy such a high grade mouse, when you are gonna use a pos mousepad or a peice of paper.. There is a soft cloth mousepad, same one I have, looks about 18 inches diagonally.. I keep my G5 at 2000DPi with about normal windows sensitivity. In games (only FPS) I use from a .8 to 1.2 sensitivity. Mouse Accel OFF.
