is this a usb keyboard or a ps2 keyboard? have you unplugged the keyboard and plugged it back in to see if that fixes the problem?

have you tried another keyboard?

I'm in the UK the keyboard is a Packard Bell slimline keyboard with English UK software
I followed your last instruction but could not find any information there for the input.
This was working ok last week and I have not added any thing in the way of software
Cheers Webbie

PS The keyboard is pluged into the Keyboard port in the back of the computer

See attachment.

Uninstall the keyboard software and use the default Windows driver. Set the locale to UK English.

Hi GLC I have done as you suggested but still no go my Keyboard properties are different to the one that you show.
I think,if I could find the place to change to English UK it would do the trick I hope, or at least I will know that that is not the problem
Cheers
