Question about scanners
I've been looking around for a home scanner where 35mm slides can be converted to photos to hard drive or to disk.... Most places who do such work, charge 30 cents a slide to put on a CD. 500 slides per CD... maybe such a machine costs way too much... I have lots of slides from the olden days and figure if it costs that much maybe I could buy such a machine myself. I knew if anyone would know, someone here would. )))))

Its not the scanner that allows you convert slides. You need an adapter (dont knwo the technical term). You put the slide in and put it face down on the scanner and it reverses the image to display it properly. Try a photo shop in your area.
