Fans!!!
im currently customizing my case... Built a side window and got a few 120mm fans and 1 80mm...
i want to place 1 120mm on the top, 1 120mm for exhaust, 2 120mm on the window and the 80mm on the front... i got 1 120mm fan that pushes air like a turbine 3x more than the others but makes 4x more noise looks like this: http://www.hardwarecooling.com/images/SFF21E.gif wondered if i should put this fan as the axhaust and the others like intakeas... another thing i wanted to ask was: If i could put a 120mm fan in the window facing the stock cpu fan, Will this make and turbulence??/ or will it imprve the cpu cooling??? 1 120mm top (intake) 2 120mm Window (intake) 1 120mm back (exhaust) 1 80mm front (intake) will i get a nice airflow with this setup??? or should i change something? |

Personally, I try to use as few fans as possible in my builds to keep turbulence and noise down to a minimum. Four 120mm fans is way over-kill as far as I'm concerned.

Change the top fan to exhaust(heat rises).

If you really want to use all those fans then put the most powerful 120mm on the back of the case blowing out, one 120mm on the top as a blow hole blowing out, the 80mm up front as an intake and the two other 120mm fans on the side blowing into the case on the expansion cards and the CPU. I hope you don't mind the noise this thing will probably make.

I don't think it's necessary but since you want to put two fans on the side door then one should blow on the CPU and the other should blow on the video card and other expansion cards.
