HD idling temperature question

I just recently added two old drives I had sitting around to my computer. They are basically used for media. The HD that I'm worried about runs at 10c more than the other HD's just idling. I am using a Antec Solo Black Mid Tower Case and have two three speed 92mm fans pushing air on the HD's on the low setting and the 120mm in the back of the case pushing air out of the case on low.
The HD in question is also the HD that sits on the bottom of the stack of HD's. When I'm using that drive it goes up to 44-47c.
This HD NEVER got this hot while it was being used as the old HD for my other computer.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Actually, 44-47 is within spec for most drives; you didn't mention the brand or type. However, since you have an increase, there could be an aire flow problem, or even a drive problem. The first thing I'd do is disable two of the intakes, leaving one intake and one exhaust. Having three intakes will cause more turbulence, just stirring the aire inside instead of moving aire thru the case.

Swap the position of the drives and see if the temps change. That will tell you if it is the drive or an airflow problem.

I'm happy if those numbers are within spec.
I think I will swap drives to see if that helps, I can't see why it would though.
