floppy drive not workin
ive just installed a floppy drive in my computer and when ive put a floppy disc in it wont see it and says please insert disc. i can see the drive in my computer and in bios so i think its all wired up right. can anyone help please?

yes tried 3 or 4 and one that i know works. is there anythin i needed to do after installin it. ive checked the settins in bios and its set to 1.44.

No, floppy disc drives are plug in and go. Do you have any others handy to try? It might be dying.

Is the floppy drive installed in a case that exposes the entire front of the floppy drive or does the floppy drive hide behind a slot?

i have managed to get it workin disconected it and reconnected it now it works
