formatting dell pc. please help.
i have a dell pc and i want to format it. my problem is how do i get the installer for the whole hardware it has. like to set up the mobo, the sound card, video card, bios and all that stuff. please help. thanks in advance.

Which Dell model is it? My 8400 has a hidden HD partition that when I boot and hit Ctrl and F11 when the blue bar is at the top of the screen activates the system restore function. This takes the PC back to a 'fresh out of the box' state- all saved/installed files/pictures/programs etc are GONE so back up before using.
Check your HD for a folder C\Dell\Docs\Manual. On mine this contains a PDF manual and in the Advanced Troubleshooting section under "Restoring your Operating System' will tell you how your model works.
