startup problem
Running windows XP got it running perfectly suddenly it will not load beyond XP window blue tracer either locks up or fails to appear.Managed to get it load done a system restore worked ok until I tried to load it next day.Sometimes it loads but mouse pointer is erratic and computer runs very slowly.Help

What kind of computer is this? Home built or name brand?
What are the complete system specs? List the parts by brand and model including the power supply. Open the case and disconnect the optical drives and then try to boot the system up. What happens?  Cricket
