CD drive recognized as SCSI drive
The DVD drive and CD burner on the computer are recognized in the BIOS. They are recognized as SCSI drives in the device manager. The computer does not recognize the drives. I have tried several different CD and DVD drives and they all show as SCSI drives in the device manager. I have tried to uninstall and re-install them with the same SCSI drive message. The other computer recognize the CD drives as IDE.

Do you have any virtual drive software installed such as Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, or Nero Image Drive?
