SATA PCI Host card
I have a MB that does not support SATA drives. I want to get a SATA II drive: Seagate / 320GB / 7200 / 16MB / SATA-300 / OEM / Hard Drive, so I know I need a host card. All of the cards I see for SATA-300, however, are PCI Express, and I only have PCI slots. Can I get a PCI host card for SATA and use the SATA II drive in it? Or should I just get a SATA drive, or even punt the whole thing and go with an IDE drive?
Thanks, Tom |
