New Hard Disk 120gb

Hi i am not so good with computer stuff thus i have some enquiries regarding my hard disk. I juz bought 120 gb external usb hard disk, but the storage show only 111 gb. which missing 9 gb. is it normal? Please advise.. Your comments is highly appreciated. Thanks

Problem Ejecting Usb Hard Drive

I tried to stop the hard drive and plug it out but it stated problem of ejecting usb device. Please try it later. So how do i solve this problem? I already closed all the application from the hard disk it self, by right it should able to eject but turn out to be error. Please advise.

Either try again later or rebooting or shut do can help..

Make sure all instances of My Computer and Windows Explorer are closed, along with any applications that may be using the external drive or files on it.

Yup. i did. i closed every application every program running behind it. It still show me this error. Emm.. this is weird..

Do you have a Norton protected recycle bin? If so, it must be disabled for the external drive.

hi, thanks for your info. However the recycle bin is not protected by norton. I click on the properties of the recyle bin but did not show the norton enable icon. Does that mean the recycle bin is not protected by norton?
