Remove a Printer

I had a HP officejet series D printer in the past. I now have a different printer. I can't seem to remove the HP officejet from my computer. I click on start->my computer->add/remove programs->HP officejet series D printer - it won't let me remove it. When I click on the icon it says click here for support information - which connects me to a HP link. I no longer have the HP disk. Does anyone know how to remove this program from my computer?

You are stuck. You are probably going to have to order a replacement CD and run the uninstaller utility on it. You MAY be able to download the drivers, reinstall the printer without connecting it, then be able to use the uninstall link.

There is supposedly a standalone version of the HP System Cleaner Utility but I cannot for the life of me find where to download it these days.
