I would not recommend getting that motherboard. People have been saying it is highly unstable. If you truly want SLI you'd want a 680i chipset. I personally would stick to an Intel chipset for maximum performance and reliability. The Asus P5B is a great choice.

What P5B Version for sli support is a good option, to bad the p5b delux versions dont seem to support sli right yet they support 2x 16 pcixp slots ;/

SLI and Intel is a bad idea at the moment unless you get the 680i chipset. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131073

Even the 680i has issues - the RAID controller is junk. Why must you have SLI?

Because i want future sli support there, with problems with the raid drivers since im only using optical cd burner drives will it cause issues with burning stuff is there a work arround?

thnx

Also, this mother board, ASUS P5N32-E SLI ATX Intel Motherboard i decided to get, i hear lots of talk about prescot or we chips on these kind of boards getting quite hot, how much of an issue is this? should i get better cooling for them or with a nice case like say the armour thermaltake case should that keep things cool nuff?
