Graphics Cards
Hi
What is a good quality low costing 32mb graphics card. I was thinking of getting a 32M Radeon DDR AGP LE. But would prefer to get something a little cheaper. If the radeon is good though, I will just get that. I will be playing games like quake 3 and flight sims etc. Thanks |

go with the radeon. its the best mid priced card around and the picture qualities great. or if you want to spend a bit less go for a GF2 MX.

Another card worth considering is the Hercules 3d Prophet(Kyro II series)
Thats the card I'm using and it's quite pleasing. Here's a review of it: http://www.maximum3d.com/reviews/kyro21.htm Last edited by Alfie; 09-03-2001 at 09:52 AM. |

I have the radeon ve 32ddr and i love it and it was right at 70 dollars at newegg. It was oem but it came with drivers and software and a s-cable. I'm extremely happy with it.

adsta,
Another vote for the Radeon LE (not VE, it's slower) 32MB DDR. It's relatively cheap from NewEgg ($70) and you can enable Hyper-Z in the registry and overlock it to perform as good as the regular Radeon. Best budget card right now IMO.
