Stock Intel heatsink fan install help

Decided not to use my Zalman 9500 on this temporary build as the mobo has no overclocking potential and just going to use the comp. on office apps. for now. Have only used AMD to date and their hsf's or Zalmamans. Have noticed (from more than several posters) that the install borders on breaking the board and to definitely install before board install. What would be the best way to support the board while still being able push points through? Guess the pressure flexes the heck out of the board!
