Dvd Rom Not Reading Dvds but reading cds
Well guys this is my first post and i have a problem, i was burning and playing dvds okay and all of a sudden my dvd writter is no longer reading or playing dvds.If i load a music or video cd it plays without a problem but on loading a Dvd it tells you that it is loading then will tell you that there is no disc in the drive.I have tried the writter on another machine but still the same problem, the dvd writer is being identified as a Cd/Dvd Wr writer but can not sense dvds blank dvds are now being seen as blank cds.
Please help. |

Sounds like the drive has failed if it does it in another computer.
