Dual Power Connections
I have an eVGA 133-K8-NF41-AX SLI motherboard and it has both a 4 pin and a 24 pin power connector. I have only been using the 4 pin. Should I have the 24 pin connected to the PSU as well?

Yes, you need the 24 pin ATX main plug AND the 4 pin CPU plug to the mother board.
