Problems getting temps on both cores!

Greetings,

When I use TAT I can only get one core to post a temp, the other core is grayed out. In TAT's testing feature I can only run one core also the other is grayed out.

If I use Rivatuner and the new CPU temp plugin I nothing... either core...

Both cores are enabled in the BIOS, and yes its a dual core CPU e6600.

Have I got a bad CPU or am I missing something. Is there another utility that will check both cores?

Thanks
Lee

I think they both read from the same sensor Ma1WS... try a BIOS update, perhaps hagatha.

Is the Pentium D 805 a Conroe chip?

Because Core Temp said it wasn't an Intel chip and wouldn't read any temps. Hrumph!!

No, an 805 is not a Conroe, it's a Smithfield.
