IDE devices

hi can some one comfirm for me if you can put a hard drive and a cd-dvd drive on the same IDE connection. I would think you can as long as the hard drive is set to master.

Yep...The hdd only has to be the master if you need to boot off of it.

It's best to use an 80 wire cable and jumper them both to CS. Master drive goes on the end of the cable.
