Can't format USB drive

While trying a Linux program I tried to format and install Linux on a 1 gig USB drive.

And now Windows can't read the drive. It tried to format it, but the format operation failed. Is there anything I can do?

About the only thing I can think of is see if the manufacturer of the flash drive has some kind of utility.

Turned out the U3 removal program fixed it.
