Question about graphic card compatibility

Greeting guys,

I am planning to buy a graphic card for my Dell Dimension E510. It has PCIE-16 slot. The graphic card that I am looking at is a XFX GeForce 7600GT 256MB. Its memory type is DDR3. My question is, will the graphic card compatible with my computer.

Thank you

Does the system currently run on integrated graphics (Intel GMA 950, most likely) or an add-on graphics card?

Be careful of the power supply size. Check the specs on your psu and compare it to the minimum requirements for the Vid card you're thinking of buying.

That Dell has a 300w and looks like a 7600GT requires a 350w PSU.

It should handle it, but watch the PSU carefully. Dell PSU's are usually underrated. Dell did offer video card upgrades on the E510 and I know they don't have different power supplies.
