CPU Setup Help?

Hello,

I just cleaned my Fan for the processor and I had to take it out along with the motherboard. When I put everything back together it asked on startup to redo the settings in the BIOS. What do I need to put for my CPU settings for the right overclocking.

I have the following:

ABIT NF7-S V2 Socket A (Socket 462) NVIDIA nForce2 SPP ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD Mobile Athlon XP-M 2400+ (45W) Barton 1.8GHz Socket A Processor Model AXMH2400FQQ4C - OEM

2 sticks of 256 RAM making it 512 - 256MB PC-2100 Double Data Rate (DDR) 184-pin (32x64) RAM

And I just put in an Antec 650W Power supply - I have 2 hard drives and 2 DVD drives. I am running XP. Thanks for the help!

Wait. Do you mean to say you've previously overclocked and now want to reset the BIOS to the same settings or that you want to OC for the first time?

Sorry for the confusion - When I first setup the computer a year and a half ago - I was told to user define the settings. I did and I cant remember them but bascially I would like recommendations on what I need to put to OC.

I saw that you double posted this thread, too. Well, it takes a while...

There should be someone else coming along shortly who can guide you on overclocking. You should read the overclocking stickies if you already haven't.
