Please recommend a DVD burner

Hi all, I recently purchased a new Panasonic DVD / VHS burner with a built in hard drive.
I was able to get it to burn a DVD on a blank Sony DVD-R disk I had around. The manual for the panasonic said the disk when finalized should play on most brands of DVD players.

I would like to purchase a DVD player/burner for my PC and have not purchased an internal DVD burner in several years. Does anyone have a recommmendation for a good reliable deive the will burn and play + and - as well as play the disks that I burn with the new Panasonic set top unit.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
