Format hard drive

I just booted up my new build. Everything works fine. Windows has been installed. I have a Seagate SATA 160GB Hard drive. I would like to create another partition. I may have missed this step when Windows installed. Right now, the entire Hard drive is 'C' Drive. How do I create another drive?

You'll need third party software like Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Director. Or you'd have to go back and reinstall XP. Delete the existing partition during the install process and then create the partitions.

I'm not sure if XP will even let you set up multiple partitions within the installer. I might be mistaken.

Rather than spend the money on partition magic, check out gparted; free, open source bootable cd partition resizer. I've used it a couple times with no data loss. As always, if there's important data on the drive, back it up just in case though. (With a fresh install, I don't imagine that's the case...) http://howtoforge.org/partitioning_with_gparted

Don't need to. All you need is one partition of a size of your choosing, then you create additional partitions in Disk Management after Windows is installed.
