Case suggestions

Well right now im planning on getting a antec 900 for my build, but i want something a little more flashey but with the same ammount of fans. I am plannig on adding 2 120's. The antec 900 comes with one 200mm, 3x120. What cases compare to this but look sweet?

Case preference is very much a personal thing. What I think looks good, you might think looks terrible. The Antec 900 really does have a lot of fans though, you'll struggle to find anything with the same amount. Do you REALLY need a case with loads of fans? The vast majority of systems will manage just fine with one intake and one exhaust.

If you're looking for something in-between, look at the Antec P180.

As an owner of an Antec900, I've got a simple thing to say to you.

Get the Antec 900. More flashy? go with the thermaltake armour 8000. I just hope you're willing to dish out an additionnal 50-80$ CDN for it.

The Antec900 is a fine-looking and very functional case. There's a limit between functional, nice looking, and just plain waisting your money... Unless you hate working with screws. The Armour is almost screwless... Antec900, not so screwless lol.

Is there a website like this that i can do that to an antec? cause all on the frozencpu had like 3 8mm fans. And im getting a quad core and a gtx 8800 and a fa1tality sound card so im gunna need good air.

Just order the parts for yourself and do it. It's pretty easy.

I'm not so versed in the LED or cold cathodes, but get a sunbeam rheobus as your fan controller. I have one in my Antec 900 (its a black one, of course) and it looks like it was meant to be there. Works well too, which is a plus I supppose

Well the important thing to remember about the Antec 900 is that the fans they put in there are their nice 3-speed ones. Each fan has the power connector but in addition to that a switch... Clean and simple (yeah some ppl complain that its not practical cause its inside the case but cant have everything... unless you slap them all onto a baybus)

I run my system with the fans at LOW, and the system is Very quiet, considering the amount of fans. it's most definately something you can live with having near you, any level of music will instantly make you forget about the pc's noise.

never ran it on medium.. but on high, it sounds like a jet is taking off... so might want to avoid that lol
