upgrading to Core 2 Duo, can I keep my RAM?

My setup as follows:

Pentium D 960 @ stock 2.6 Ghz
ASUS P5LD2 Mobo
2 GB Corsair XMS2 240-pin DDR2 675 (PC5400) Dual Channel Kit

I would like to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo E6600 (when prices drop) along with an ASUS P5W or equivalent motherboard, but I'd like to know if I can use my current RAM with this upgrade?

Thanks for the help.

Absolutely. That's a pretty good quality RAM, should work just fine

You can get the retail version of that board from mWave for less than the OEM version at Newegg.

(I just did.)

What's the difference between retail and OEM version?

Also, am I limited to running an ATI card or can I use my nVIDIA 7900GT? I am not running SLI.
