Will this PSU run a 8800 GTX
Hi all
I was going to get a GTS but i mite as well spend a bit more and get the best but will this psu run the card ok? Ok i am going to get a BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) and the PSU i i am going to get is a http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CA-005-CS Now the card need 2 things to run (1) 475W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 32A or more (2) Two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors now does that corsair psu have them 2 things and be able to run the card ok? Thanks for any help. |

I found a review on the 650 version and looking at and to my unstanding it only has a 18A rating.

Yes that PSU should do the trick. its the recomended PSU at the time. I just ordered that one for a 8800gts. for the GTX I might look at the 620watt version of the PSU. But I'd wait to see what others say as well.

There is no reasonable need for the 620w. The 520w will pair up nicely. Its a good choice. Power to spare when combined with the 8800gtx.

Sounds good. You would add up all the 12V rails for a total amperage.
