OCing Fans?

I've got some old PSU fans that r hanging around. I split the 2 prong head off the wires and put one wire in the 1st and 4th hole on a hdd power connecter and the fan runs. I want to know, becuase these fans are not very expensive, if I can make these run any faster?

Thanks,
Tom =]

Generally if a fan is rated at 12v DC, then that is the max it should be supplied. To get a fan to run at a higher RPM, need a higher voltage.
Since 12DC is the highest voltage in a PC, your out of options.
