CPU Cooling. Zalman or CM with 2 fans?

Alright, I'm ready to purchase an aftermarket CPU cooler. I've narrowed it down to this:

A Zalman CNPS9500 LED : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118223

OR

A Coolermaster GemenII with 2 120mm fans : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118223

I know many of you will say Coolermaster is nto respected, blah blah blah. I don't care about respect, I care about performance; and I want to know which one you feel will work best with my e6400.

Here's a review of the Coolermaster, and according to the reviewer it kicked the Zalman 9700's butt =]

Thanks =]

Please correct me if im wrong but, the review seems to be comparing a EnzoTech heatsink to the Coolermaster, not a zalman?

The Zalman isn't exactly the absolute highest performer nor is it a poor performer, kinda of the middle line.

Haven't heard too much about the GeminII, but by the looks of it, you'll need some high speed fans to get a real performance advantage due to the design. Would probably be better then the Zalman in that case. Just speculation.

If you want a good budget heatsink my personal suggestion would be the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Its ~$30 or less.

If you want some proven performers the Scythe Infinity, Thermalright Ultra120, and Sunbeam Tuniq Tower would be a few examples.

Yes they are comparing an EnzoTech, but they give a link to how the Enzo tech dominated the Zalman 9700, sorry I didn't tell you that

I looked at the scythe, and the coolermaster seemed to beat it as well.

The two fans I'm getting are 2000 rpm, which is rather fast, dontcha think?

The Thermalright Ultra120 is a little to expensive for me and out of stock at newegg.

As for the freezer 7 pro, it's on newegg for $60! If I could find one for 30 I would so do that!

After looked at the pics of the Gemenii it looks kidna right up my alley. I have a very large case, so I don't think space would be a problem.

Do you think you could clarify the freezer 7 pro for me?

Thanks again Ferrari =]

I have the AC 64 for the AMD processor. It works great for me. I have a 3400+ over clocked and it never gets over 40c. i can't imagine the AC 7 would be any different.

I think it looks exactly like the ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER 7 PRO CPU COOLER FOR LGA775 but costs more.
