PATA controller card
I'm gonna need a PATA card to drive a couple of EIDE hard drives in my new build.
Any recommendations? I've already scoped out these on Newegg... http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16815150040 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16816132004 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16816132005 Leaning toward this one: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16816102007 Cheap is better, as long as it works. |

I would go with the Promise controller you picked out.

I'll second that card
-- you can even try going to the local mom-and-pop shop and see if they have one laying around. Maxtor used to include the Promise card with their drives when they came out with the ATA 133.
