Exclamation External USB HDD

Hi Guys,
I am planning to build an 500GB external USB HDD.
My PC configuration is
AMD Athlon 1200 MHz
VIA KT 133 MSI Mother Board
384MB SD RAM
40GB IDE HDD
Intex VIA VT6202 USB 2.0 PCI to USB Card

OS: Windows XP Professional SP2

Is my PC configuration supports 500GB external Drive????

Thanks in advance.......
Regards,
Akshara T.G

Some one correct me if I am wrong...

but I believe that as long as the external enclosure supports a 500GB hard drive... then your good to go.

What OS and service pack do you have installed?

You just need an enclosure that supports such a HDD.

Apricorn makes good quality units, and they come with a version of Acronis backup software.
