Cooling a OCed C2D
i need a decent cpu cooler to drop the temps 10 degrees or so on my E6420 which is overclocked to 3.0 ghz. something which is less than 50 dollars preferably, please post any suggestions.

Thermalright Ultra120..Scythe Infinity, Sunbeam Suniq Tower..and if your looking for bang/buck the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Available between $25-35 US.
And its not really possible to say how many degrees the temperature will drop, everybody's system is different. I would look to improve case cooling if you haven't already.

well the first three are a little more than 50, and the arctic cooling has those push pins which i dont like any other suggestions?

Thats cool, just make sure your case has the space for it. Its a great heatsink.

Yes..very much so, but thats for AMD cpu's, if you have a intel processor you need the Freezer 7 Pro version.
