OCing help

ok so I access the bios on my evga680i SE motherboard to overclock my e4300 core2due and it wont let me tuch the clock speeds. I can overclock everything else but not the cpu

If someone could give me some good directions on how to do this it would realy help out thx

are you sure it wont let u touch clock speeds? maybe ur just going into the wrong place. I think in Bios u need to look for 'JumperFree configuration' and thats where u raise ur FSB leading to higher clock speeds.

I have the 680i LT motherboard (similar to yours) and I have never had any trouble with overclocking. By the way, FSB or Front Side Bus is overclocking the CPU. Just in case you didn't know =]

great worked but now i save 2.0ghz to the bios but when it starts up and i go to system info it still says its running at 1.8ghz
