Is this a good motherboard?

Yo, new here to the site.

I've never assembled my own computer and I knew nothing about the hardware that goes inside them until I spent today reading some articles from this site and scanning across the forum boards. I started to compile a list of items to buy for the new computer and started to worry that I'll by something that won't be compatible with everthing else.

So I just wanted to get an opinion about the quality and of this motherboard:

Intel DP35DP Motherboard : $105.99
Bus speed: 1333mHz
Chipset: Intel P35 Express (Does that have anything to do with PCI Express?)
Memory tech: DDR2 (that's pretty good right?)
System mem.: 8GB
4 memory slots
3 PCI slots, 3 PCI Express 1x slots, and 1 PCI Epress 16x slot

I want to use the computer for film and photo editing (programs like Adobe Premier and Photoshop), word processing, and maybe 2 OS (Mac and XP), as well as some gaming (maybe as much as 2-3 games). It also needs High speed internet.

Intel motherboards are fine if you don't want to overclock.

yeah i'm not to familiar with overclocking so I probably won't bother.

Is it worth looking for another board that has and AGP slot instead of PCI Express slot for the Graphics card?

and is a graphics card the same as a video card?

Is there a certain card to look for if i want to use a HDTV for a monitor?

Yes, those are the same thing.

Pretty much any video card will have a DVI connection that you can use to attach your HDTV.
