monitor making strange noise

when i have my desktop on the screen theres no buzzing noise coming from my monitor.
however when I have my internet on the screen it makes a strange buzzing noise. when i minimize the internet page and i have desktop back on it doesnt make a noise. and when i switch between them desktop = no noise internet page = noise. when i go to different web sites different sites make a different amount of noise... for some reason this forum makes most of the noise of all the sites i go on often. i think its b/c of the white background. i just changed my desktop background to complete white and it made a noise and to a black one with no noise. how can i change this?

... oh its my speakers >.> on my monitor <.< but how does this explain the amount of sound when i change whats on my screen>?

This may or may not work, but go into your mixer and turn off all inputs / outputs without something plugged into them, such as Mic In, Line In, etc...

What monitor are we talking about?

Does it make the buzz more when brighter images are displayed?

Hmm. I have an idea. White = more pixel colors need to be turned on. More pixels = higher running current used. Higher current used = more EM interference?

Move the wires around such that monitor and speaker cables are perpendicular to each other if possible. Do NOT allow them to run closely together in a parallel fashion.
