monitor stand help

hi all bought a new Samsung 226BW 22" widescreen monitor because on stats of the monitor and reviews it looked awesome.

now i have it, the monitor itself is awesome colour size and resolution outstanding. However the base/stand it came with is so cheap and tacky it ruins the monitor experience.

it can turn left and right but it cannot be tilted back or forward and it cannot be raised higher or lower.

the higher/lower thing isnt such an issue to me, but i like to tilt forward and back the monitor depending on lighting conditions.

does anyone know where i can get a compatible yet basic stand that can do the above? i dont seem to find anywhere that sells just stands that arent wall mounted things for science labs.

I have the Samsung 225BW 22" and am also not completely satisfied with the stand either. I second this request for stand information.

Have you looked to see if Samsung has a different stand?

they dont have anything about it on their website, i have however found this:

http://www.azlek.com/productdetail.asp?id=2

which is mountable on the back of the monitor as manual states its 100mm x 100mm VESA compatible. but its nearly half the price of the monitor just for an acceptable stand!

Are you sure you are trying hard enough to tilt it?
I couldn't find anywhere on the internet where there were tilt problems.
