I concur. I've got 2 (1 ancient the other newer) that are both fine.

Just so you know, it's a 6-bit panel, so not ideal if you plan to do any serious photo editing.
And TigerDirect, obviously, not most peoples' top choice of vendors ....

no, no serious video editing. just something to extend my macbook monitor to. i was gona get a 19 inch that was about $175 but with the price on this i just dont think i'll be able to pass it up.

For that use, I don't see a major problem then. Just don't count on the rebate. You may have to fight for it.

I have a pair of 22" Acer LCD monitors (different model than what you linked too) that I purchased at Best Buy for $190 (on sale) on two separate occasions. They are definitely not high end LCD's, but for what I intend to do with them (office apps, occasional movie), great bang for the buck.
