Keyboard Problems
With my recently built computer I got for the first time a wireless mouse and keyboard, the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000. Now everything seems to be fine in windows. Typing, signal strength etc but when I go to play a first person shooter such as Call Of Duty, when holding "W" to walk forward it will suddenly stop. Then when repressed it will walk a little further then stop again. Single presses of keys are fine but anything that requires the key to be held down continuously doesnt seem to work.
Im open to the problem not being down to the keyboard and am open to any suggestions. If I dont get it fixed soon though im just gonna go back to an old fashioned key board and mouse with a wire. |

See if the W key problem happens in a text editor, like Notepad or Wordpad. If so, then the KB may be bad.

If there's a key that you press for "Run" in the game that has the same problem, then check the game's settings.
Does it happen in all 1st person shooter games? |
