Adding Ram But not sure which to get
Alright I went to crucial.com and these were the results I got.
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=6C731CF831D926C3 I want to add lots of ram to make it run better but I'm not sure which to get. Need some help can anybody recommend the type of ram that would work with this computer and the price. Thanks a lot-Erik |

1 GB added to your current 512 MB would be a good upgrade. However, if you do a lot of multi-tasking or use Windows Vista, then suggest 2 GB total.

Is this for a custom build or something off the shelf (HP, etc.)? If it's off the shelf it's recommended to buy through Crucial because they guarantee it will work. Sometimes off the shelf's won't play nice with generic RAM from Newegg.

There is so little price difference you might as well get the Crucial direct.
