mouse pointer problems

my fiancés computer specs in sig has an interesting problem.

lately the mouse pointer is never the right icon it should be and i reset it to windows default but still shows busy or a cursor or right pointing arrow all the time making it hard to know where to click exactly and the computer isn't busy. this doesn't happen after restart but after playing a game or after a while it happens again.

now funny thing is the computer has 2 monitors with extended desktop, when in the primary screen the mouse pointer will be wrong and busy or something and you move it to the right to the secondary monitor and it returns to normal

is this some driver issue, some issue with dual screens or anyone ever encountered this before?

Thanks in advance.
