Motherboard =/

I have this pc and I fried my cpu and motherboard lol
so I wanna buy a new motherboard and Processor thats decent but i wanna buy it on ebay not more than 20 dollars if possible because i only use this pc for work stuff but idk wat motherboard or cpu to buy that will work and are compatible with wat i have can any of you guys link me to a processor and Motherboard to buy from ebay I'd greatly appreciate it.

The pieces dont have to be really really good but as good as the one i currently have if not better but not more than 20 dollars altogether. there are plenty motherboard's and cpu being sold on ebay for below 1 dollar lol but idk which Mobo is compatible with the Processor I'd buy as well as with the parts I already have.

Are you sure you actually fried your motherboard and processor? It's quite unlikely to fry both at the same time.

What's wrong with the computer? When you try to turn it on, what happens?

How did it stop working?

What makes you think you fried your motherboard and CPU? Did you diagnose the problem even at all?

I don't think you're going to find a cpu/motherboard for $20, even on ebay. The auctions that you saw selling them for under a dollar probably had alot of time left in the auction or the shipping prices were jacked way up.

can u tell me a compatible Processor to place on this pc? also do u suggest i get a new motherboard? because some1 had told me the Processor was integrated or something like that. Well anywayz can u tell me which processor to buy?

but idk if its better than what i have or compatible for that matter. Tbh the pc specs i posted in my original post is the default for my pc on google but i havet run any test to make sure. Are there any programs that i can download that will tell me my pc Specs and such so i can post here and you can tell me what processor/motherboard to buy. Someone told me something called everest but idk what that does get back at me soon plz..

What happened? Did you overclock it or something? Cooler get clogged up with dust?

One thing to look at is whether the power supply is good. Sometimes power supplies and motherboards are both proprietary and not interchangeable with standared ATX motherboards and power supplies. This is something to look out for with Retail Products.

The motherboards from Asus with the -X I think were using DDR, but not in Pairs. Normally they were on par with the other motherboards but the RAM was not just as fast as it could be. Also uses SIS Chipset with Award BIOS. For and Intel processor I think an Intel BIOS is the best bet if you can find it. This looks like a nice motherboard to put a celeron on if you can find some old 400Mhz or 533 Mhz FSB Celeron or P4.
