I'm torn between The Asus Striker and the P5K3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP. In other words the Inel p35 or the 680i chipset. I know most of you prefer the P35. Tell you the truth I'm leaning that way.
I'm probably going to stick with a single card since I can't seem to find a comparison between dual Cards vs Single card performance. I'm also consulting the Asus QVL for compatible ram. The Striker is compatible with Mushkin XP2 6400 800 DDR2 Ram <-- I've heard great things about this RAM. But the QVL on the P5K3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP is slim pickings, and it's only DDR3, I know this board supports DDR2 (I'm pretty sure anyhow I could be very wrong) Can any one verify if the Mushkin XP2 6400 800 DDR2 is compatible with the P5K3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP? If not what RAM works best with this board? I want hassle free quality. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Intel chipsets for Intel processor is the best way to go The P5K3 only has DDR3 on the QVL because it only supports DDR3. Why not the regular P5K?

Well I'm going for the Asus p5K Deluxe and a Q6600
Does any know if the Muskin XP2 6400 800 mhz Ram is compatible with this? I' could also go for good quality Corsair, if you have any suggestions. |

You were right about corsair.
Just picked up Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX. Someone told me even if your not over clocking a system that its a good idea to adjust the voltage and timings on the Ram so you don't get bottle necking. Is this true? |

Just leave the settings at whatever the stock settings are. I wouldn't mess with timings or voltage if you aren't overclocking.
